I’ve been interested in real estate since I was just a kid. I would go to open houses with family members, and I was always curious about the homes. I was always curious to see the interior and notice all the little details that made each one unique. And watching the agent hosting the open house, seeing what they do and what they say—I always thought it was exciting!
So it came as no surprise when I decided to earn my real estate license while I was still in school. I was working toward a degree in business and developing an interest in marketing, but I knew that my true passion lay in the real estate world. After graduation, I found my first job in the industry, and I never looked back.
The first few years were a struggle, since I’d started my career in the midst of the market downturn, and everything was changing. But I was absolutely determined to succeed, and I became one of the first agents at my office to successfully close a short-sale. From the very beginning, I was ready to go, ready to pound the pavement and get things done. “Energy gets energy,” I say. If I embody that optimism and can-do attitude, I’ll get the same outlook back from those I work with. But my fellow agents didn’t always have that excitement, especially in the difficult housing market we were experiencing.
Thankfully, I met someone early on who matched my passion. Mimi was a broker I worked with, and she was instrumental in giving me the advice I needed and in being a mentor and a friend. She had worked in construction and real estate for over 20 years, and was the only person I found who could rival my energy and drive. Mimi became one of my biggest role models both professionally and personally, and we decided to partner up and work as a team. Together, we were able to channel our enthusiasm into our business, and pass the results along to our clients. Eventually, Mimi and I parted ways as she relocated to Florida to found a brand new real estate startup! In her absence, I continue to ensure my clients have an experience that’s both educational and enjoyable.
Buying or selling a house is one of the best things you’ll ever do, and I try to make it fun! I strive to keep the whole process smooth and seamless, and I’m always available to figure out creative solutions to benefit my client and keep the transaction moving forward.
When I find time to step away from real estate, I enjoy spending time with friends—and with my dog, Rufus! And every year, I make it a point to travel somewhere I’ve never been before. In 2014, I journeyed with three of my best friends to the Peruvian Amazon, and hiked Machu Picchu. It was an incredible experience.
I would love nothing more than to lend my knowledge and experience toward helping you with your real estate endeavors, but I don’t expect your business simply because of our relationship—I only ask that you take the time to interview me and see if I might be the best agent for you.
Buying or selling real estate is often an enormously important transaction, and the representation you receive from your agent can have significant impact on your results.
It is important for you to choose the person who will do the best job for you, and who is the right fit for your particular needs. I’ve worked hard as a professional to be able to provide the highest level of service, so I might be a good choice for you. I want you to know that if you do not choose me, I will never be upset. But if you do, I promise to work diligently to exceed your expectations.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. When you or someone you know is in need of a real estate agent, I hope you give me the opportunity to demonstrate my services and interview for the job.
